December 3rd, Saturday Visit

Warren's Update:
I'm pleased to say, Warren seemed the best that I've seen him in a couple of weeks during our visit today.  The long dialysis (it took a total of 7 hours) really wore him out, but he seemed of good mind and good spirits today. He is now in Progressive Care which is a much better place for Donna and visitors than Critical Care.  Warren was sitting in a normal chair when we came in today.  He even laughed at the kids as they told their best jokes.  Gabriel, "What do you call a fish with no eyes?"  "Fssssh!"

Visitors:
I'm so glad that someone from church or family has visited Donna and Warren every single day this week, besides Alex of course.  Alex has been a trooper and has been over every single day, usually when he gets of work.  He's even doing his mother's laundry for her.  What a great way to show appreciation for the 28 years she did his laundry.  Warren is in room 2036 in "A" building.  Visitors are welcome.  Even little visitors like the ones to the right.

Donna's Update:
Donna is able to stay in the room with Warren now.  She's hangin' in there even though she has yet to leave the hospital since the surgery began over three weeks ago.  She's still got books to read due to the fact that she's not getting a lot of reading done (I gather she falls asleep about the time she tries to read.)  Alex is visiting every day and helping her out with necessities.

Prayers:
Warren, Donna, and Alex would like to thank you for all the prayers.  They know the prayers are working.  Please keep faithfully lifting their family up to God as they've done many times for our families.

I'll end the message with one of the last things Warren said before we left today.  "God is good."   Amen.

Day 17

Warren slept all night and was doing much better this morning, he is now at dialysis for 4 hrs.

Psalm 100

A Psalm of Praise
Psa 100:1  Sing to the LORD, all the world!
Psa 100:2  Worship the LORD with joy; come before him with happy songs!
Psa 100:3  Acknowledge that the LORD is God. He made us, and we belong to him; we are his people, we are his flock.
Psa 100:4  Enter the Temple gates with thanksgiving; go into its courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise him.
Psa 100:5  The LORD is good; his love is eternal and his faithfulness lasts forever.

We had a peaceful moment at church this week.  It was definitely worth giving thanks for.  Take a look at the picture below:
